The Twist Side Table is 3D powder printed in Black Quartz Sand using a binder-jet process that allows the form to feel both solid and eroded at once. The sculptural form features an organic, twisting lattice structure that spirals around a central axis, creating movement, depth, and shifting shadows as light passes through the piece. After printing, the piece was dyed with India ink to push the surface to an even deeper black, emphasizing the soft, continuous geometry. A black mirror is inset into the top, creating a reflective contrast to the matte sand texture and shifting the top surface between object and a void depending on the light.
