Moon Crater S

The "Moon Crater S" is a solid cast aluminum sculpture. The letter "S", stems from the STAV6 graffiti letters carried throughout Tavill's work continuing the ability to abstract these typographical forms. The original form was hand carved out of a block of wax. The pitting texture creates a moon-like crater effect as if the surface of the sculpture has been bombarded by asteroids for millions of years, rough yet refined.
